Recently, MEIJIA has entered into in-depth cooperation with NITTO Ceramics of Japan, supplying high-quality customized ceramic inkjet printers for its high-end brand SWANTILE. The equipment has safely arrived at the Japanese site and entered the installation and commissioning phase, with official commissioning scheduled for mid-2026. This cooperation marks that MEIJIA’s ceramic inkjet printers and customized solutions have been officially recognized by Japan’s high-end ceramic market, serving as another benchmark for technological collaboration between the Chinese and Japanese ceramic industries.
NITTO Ceramics is a top-tier tile manufacturer whose holding a 30% domestic market share in Japan. Adhering to the business philosophy of “Dedication to a lifetime of relentless pursuit”, it has cultivated the ceramic field with extreme craftsmanship. This aligns highly with MEIJIA’s core value: “Technology Creates Value, Service Wins Global Recognition”. Amid an industry environment where most architectural ceramic enterprises pursue low-cost and large-scale production, both parties remain committed to quality, technological innovation and long-term value. This shared dedication to craftsmanship laid a solid ideological foundation for their in-depth cooperation.
Previously, SWANTILE had long used ceramic inkjet printers from a well-known Italian brand, but gradually encountered pain points such as high maintenance costs, slow after-sales response and inconvenient equipment upgrades. To further enhance production efficiency and product quality, the SWANTILE team turned to China for more stable, adaptable and competitive ceramic equipment solutions. After meeting at an industry exhibition, the two sides carried out in-depth communication, demand refinement and on-site visits for nearly one year. The Japanese team visited MEIJIA’s production base multiple times to conduct comprehensive inspections and rigorous verification of its R&D, manufacturing, quality control and global delivery capabilities. Ultimately, MEIJIA stood out among numerous competitors worldwide with reliable equipment performance, efficient service system and profound understanding of high-end ceramic processes, earning full recognition from the brand. The official procurement contract was signed in September 2025, marking the implementation phase of the cooperation.
During equipment production, the factory director of NITTO Ceramics visited the site and proposed personalized customization requirements: to adapt to the new digital mold ink process, a set of high-precision visual recognition linkage system must be added between two inkjet printers to achieve precise multi-machine synchronization, pattern alignment and process connection. In response to this specialized technical demand, MEIJIA’s R&D team responded rapidly and independently developed a customized visual recognition system, successfully realizing seamless linkage between the two printers. This perfectly supports the implementation of the digital mold ink process, effectively improving product texture accuracy, surface finish and production stability, while solving industry challenges where traditional equipment struggles to adapt to high-end digital processes.
From technical communication, customized R&D and manufacturing to cross-border delivery, MEIJIA has upgraded from a “product supplier” to a “process solution partner” through its full-chain service capabilities. The smooth progress of this Japan project not only affirms the quality of MEIJIA’s ceramic inkjet printers, but also validates its customized R&D, rapid response and global delivery capabilities. Going forward, MEIJIA will continue to deepen the inkjet printer sector, providing smarter, more stable and innovative solutions for high-end customers worldwide, and driving China’s ceramic intelligent manufacturing onto the global stage.
